After spending a couple hundred dollars on a PSP you may want to spend an extra ten to make sure your screen has a nice long life. A single well-placed scratch might otherwise become a permanent distraction from your mobile gaming experience.

This box includes not one, but TWO screen protectors for the PSP Slim/PSP 3000*, as well as a cleaning cloth made from the silky material you'd find to clean a pair of glasses. You can keep the second screen protector as a replacement or chip in with a friend.

The screen films are sturdy and so far have been resistant to scratches themselves. After about one month of use they still look brand new. The adhesive material is strong enough to keep the film in place, but not so sticky that they will leave residue if you need to replace it down the road. One word of caution, though, don't plan to remove and reapply a single film. These are not meant to be reusable in that fashion.

My only complaint is that the films are just barely larger than the PSP 3000 screen area, which has the effect of creating a tiny "bubble" that rings the screen. This is very noticeable when the device is off, but completely disappears once the screen comes to life. In other words, it doesn't detract from the gaming experience but does take a little away from the otherwise sleek look of the system when it's not in use. Still, in my opinion I'd much rather have this bubble ring than a scratched screen.

The cleaning cloth is included in order to wipe down the screen before applying a protective film, but it is by no means a throw away item. I often use the cloth to remove fingerprints from my PSP and store the cloth folded neatly in my case next to the spare screen protector.

Overall this is a quality product and with free shipping it appears to be priced very much in line with other options available as of this writing. Thanks to this product I plan to have many years of scratch-free PSP gaming.
